Welcome to South America (Year 3) class!

Miss Wren teaches us in South America our teaching assistant is Mrs Mustoe

Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday

We are a happy and caring class where we take pride in our work to be the best we can be!

Our classroom is a calm and welcoming learning environment where practical resources and working walls support and stimulate children’s learning. As children reach Year 3, we focus on fostering their independence to prepare them for the responsibility of KS2.

To ensure children have opportunities to explore a range of texts and are building their reading skills, we read daily during whole class reading time and independent ERIC time. We also enjoy researching information on the iPads, increasing their independent learning.

Each half term, our lessons are focused around a topic. This supports children to build upon their learning and to gain knowledge through a variety of learning styles and creative activities.

Key Information:

• Please ensure children come to school with a water bottle so we stay hydrated.
• For morning break, the children are welcome to bring a healthy snack into school. Please note, we are a nut free school.
